You connect your timeclock and payroll logins once. WageScout compares the hours your timeclock says you worked against what your paychecks say you were paid for — every pay period, going back as far as your records go. If something doesn’t line up, you get a clear report showing exactly what’s missing. The sample sweep on this page runs on demo data so you can see how it works before you connect anything.
Hours worked vs. hours paid, your regular and overtime rates (time-and-a-half after 40), missing punches, short shifts, and holiday pay. Anything where the math doesn’t match gets flagged with the exact dates and dollar amounts.
They’re scrambled on your own phone with AES-256 encryption before they ever leave the screen — our server only stores the scrambled version. No human, including us, can read your passwords from our server, because they aren’t there. You can revoke access or delete everything any time in Settings.
Nothing is lost — your payroll logins still work at your employer’s site, and the scrambled copy on our server is just unreadable noise without the phrase. But we can’t recover it for you: nobody can, and that’s exactly what makes the vault truly eyes-only. The fix is simple: sign up with a different email address and reconnect your logins — about two minutes, clean slate. Plus member? Your subscription stays on your old email — send us a message below and we’ll move it to the new one. Tip: write your phrase down somewhere safe when you create it.
